Ruth is certified in the Compton P-ESL Method and has trained under Lorna Sikorski, M.A., CCC.  Your accent is part of your identity, but when it gets in the way of your message or when it holds you back personally or professionally, you might need some specialized help. Ruth can provide this with effective programs tailored just to you. In her program,  you can improve your “American” English and learn more about American speech sounds and intonation. As a person who grew up speaking two languages and having emigrated from another country, Ruth has firsthand knowledge of how accents can influence communication, relationships, and careers.

Ruth has extensive experience working with the pediatric population in a variety of settings.  She is trained in various methods, including PROMPT.  Ruth especially loves working with speech sound disorders. She is very creative in making it functional and fun.
